About Legal Aid Queensland
As the specialist consultant, you will manage rehabilitation and return to work arrangements of injured and ill workers including WorkCover and income protection matters.
This is a permanent full time position.
What you will do
Design, implement and monitor psychological and psychosocial HSW initiatives
Provide strategic advice on planning and performance of LAQ's health and safety management system
Monitor, review and undertake analysis of health and safety incidents, performance reports and legislation to assist Officers to meet their due diligence duties
Extensive experience in overseeing a safety management systems and managing WHS risk
Experience in overseeing, providing advice and contributing to strategies and best practice HSW
Experience managing complex rehabilitation matters including independent medical assessments and ill health retirement
