The successful applicant will have a diverse range of duties and will suit a proactive, self-motivated and safety focused Maintenance Fitter who has experience working in an environment where continuous improvement is at the fore front of daily activities.
**Key responsibilities for this position include**:

- Maintain the equipment and take corrective troubleshooting actions as required
- Monitor the operation of individual plant items (as required) and be able to identify abnormal operating conditions
- Report problems that may affect the safety of plant & personnel, the quality of product or risk to the environment.
- Comply with relevant OHS/WHS as per Ridley policies and procedures
- Participate in Safety, Quality & Environment initiatives

**Key skills required for this role include**:

- Trade Qualifications
- Welding Qualifications
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience in rebuilding pumps, cylinders and gearboxes
- Good communication and numeracy skills
