Madison Tower Mill Hotel Brisbane is looking for experienced hotel staff in the following department:
**Maintenance - Hotel Handy Person**

The successful applicant will be provided with on-site training and the position can be a casual or part-time role depending on the applicants preference.

**Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following**:

- Clean facilities by sweeping, leaf blowing, emptying bins etc.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
- Basic Tiling (replacing cracked tiles)
- Basic Plumbing (replacing shower heads, stopping leaks etc.)
- Basic electrical (replacing light bulbs and fittings)
- Undertake light installation
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Other maintenance tasks
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Have a positive attitude and friendly nature
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have high standards of personal presentation and grooming
- Must show attention to detail
- The ability to work unsupervised, solve problems and handle pressured situations
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts

We are looking for friendly and vibrant individuals, who are honest, reliable, and flexible, to fulfil this role.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
