**We're hiring for a Speciality Barista / Manager at Pretty Handsome in Burleigh**

We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Specialty Barista / Manager to join our team as we grow.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has management experience, alongside exceptional barista experience on modern equipment in a fast-paced cafe. We have state of the art coffee setup (New La Marzocco Strada, x2 Mahlkonig E80 Grinders), to assist in consistency and efficiency and we need someone to lead, manage and help grow the business.
- **If you possess the following, then this role may be for you**:_
- Minimum 2 years experience with modern barista equipment
- Extremely proficient in steaming milk and perfect coffee shots
- Ability to lead, manage and train staff
- Ability to adjust the grind to match our recipe and deliver consistently great coffee
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Possess astute attention to detail and great customer service
- Experience in specialty coffee advantageous
- **Position duties**:_
- Communicate effectively in the workplace and promote a highly productive environment amongst staff
- Handle ordering for milk, coffee, cups/packaging and other items required
- Lead/manage/train staff in coffee-making
- Provide a great end-to-end experience for customers
- Ensuring areas are staffed and rostering for Barista area and FOH within allocated budget

We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about coffee, loves the pace of a busy cafe and can lead and mentor staff.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
