Warehouse and Stock Controller

Immediate start - FULL-TIME POSITION (After a 6-month probationary period)

13AXENT is an electronic engineering company specialising in the design, manufacture, supply, and support of LED-based visual communication systems. Operating for over 35 years and employing over 100+ staff, we have developed many of the systems which the bulk of Australians use daily, including and not limited to road systems, transit passenger, and sporting displays.

Some of these include electronic speed signs in tunnels, school zones, service stations, car parks, sporting arenas, and rail & bus stations throughout Australian roads.

Due to significant company growth and successfully securing major contracts in Queensland & Northern NSW, we require additional staff to complement our organisation at our brand-new factory in Yatala, QLD.

We are looking for an experienced bright and hardworking individual to manage our inventory in a busy work environment. In this role, you will be required to perform regular inventory checks, and update electronic records ensuring consistent stock levels along with warehouse duties as listed below.

Main Job Role
- Receive incoming goods, inspect and check quantities against delivery docket
- Picking and checking of outgoing stock
- Manage inventory, stock control and re-ordering levels
- Perform regular stock takes
- Planning and organizing daily workflow
- Forklift operation (license IS a requirement)
- Deliveries when needed
- Communicate with suppliers
- Quality control
- Assist Senior Technicians and Civil staff onsite when required
- Ensure all Workplace Health & Safety policies and practices are followed and maintained
- General warehouse duties
- Working on the production floor manufacturing, assembly and quality-checking our signage.
- White Card, EWP, forklift, medium rigid, RIW card, and first aid licenses/certificates will be advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently
- Understanding of inventory management practices
- Purchasing experience highly regarded.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Can follow instructions with accuracy and in a timely manner.

- Must have a driver's license (Probationary license minimum)
- Familiar with the use of Windows OS and MS Office
- Competent in the use of hand tools/power tools
- Familiar with QA and OHS practices.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment as required.
- Some fitness level as lifting ladders and batteries is involved.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
