***20-25 hours p/w - Flexible days and hours**

***$75,000 + Super pro-rata + 5% bonus**

Sirius People are currently working with a large warehouse and manufacturing leader who are looking for a Safety Officer to join the team.

**Reporting to the WHS Manager, your main tasks will include**:
- Provide support with the development and implementation of systems and policies- Maintain HSE records - Inductions, training, hazard register- Conduct inductions with HSE - new employees, contractors- Ensure that compliance is up to date - forklift licenses, first aid certificates- Assist with hazard identification - investigate incidents and provide recommendations- Support with internal audits, inspections and risk assessments- Adhoc duties as required

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Minimum 2 years strong WHS skills- Ability to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders- Ability to improve processes and streamline solutions- Solid written & verbal communication skills- High sense of urgency and a strong team player- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Knowledge of WHS legislation
