We have a career opportunity for a **Technical Support Specialist **to join our high performing national Off-Highway Engineering & Technical Support team, based at Kings Park.

In this role you will:

- Provide technical support to Penske's Defence Programmes Group (DPG), OEMs and end customers in the Marine & Defence market within Australia, NZ and surrounding island territories within Penske's area of distribution
- Provide troubleshooting support to Penske technicians
- Advise DPG on technical content of locally compiled documentation to facilitate content review and updating
- Assist with review of configuration management of the installed base of Defence products
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers and OEMs, and key supplier management and staff, to facilitate technical support
- Work internally with DPG, Parts, Service and Branch Managers with regard to support issues and elevate appropriately within the technical support team
- Work within the technical support team on failure analysis

**About you**:

- Appropriate Engineering or technical qualification
- Knowledge and experience of Penske products and services is desirable
- Computer literacy to a level necessary to manipulate spreadsheets, develop effective presentations for internal/external customers and write technical reports
- Effective time management and sound administrative ability
