**Social Worker Level 3 - Program of Initial Parenting Support**

**About the role**:
In this role, you will join the vibrant First Steps Parenting Team at Wallsend, working closely with the PIPS CNS2 to provide maternity leave coverage.

As a member of the FSPC Team, you'll collaborate with Child and Family Health Nurses, Level 3 and 4 Social Workers, YPN Social Workers, a Paediatrician, a Speech Therapist, and a supportive Administrative Team.

Your daily tasks will include partnering with the PIPS CNS2 to conduct both home and clinic visits, some jointly and others independently, as needed. You'll also have opportunities to lead group sessions alongside your colleagues.

The FSPC and PIPS programs operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering consistent hours to accommodate other responsibilities such as meetings and MDT conferencing.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold as a minimum a bachelor degree in social work which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer and a minimum of three years full time clinical experience.
- Current unrestricted driver's license and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distance.
