About us

Good Food Distributors is a proud Local Australian family-owned food service company established in 1994. We are a wholesale and foodservice distribution company that manufactures portion meat products on site for both Food Service and Retail markets.

We are also brand holders for Hunter Gold, Hunter Reserve, Hunter Signature meat, Primo Smallgoods, Lavazza Coffee, San Pellegrino, Eastcoast and many others. We have a large offering of poultry, cheese, meat, smallgoods, seafood, mineral water, juices, beer, wine and much more.

**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Sales Representative to help manage and grow our business in the Newcastle, Hunter, Central & Mid North Coast areas.

**Successful applicants must have**
- Understanding of meat cuts and quality.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base.
- Past experience in the food service industry is crucial for this role.
- You must have proven sales experience, managing customer accounts and growing the business in a food industry.
- The ability to prioritize your workload, be self
- motivated and self
- driven.
- Aptitude for working with computers, iPads, CRM, Microsoft office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
- Professional personal presentation.
- Competence in building trust and customer loyalty.

**Tasks & Key Accountabilities**
- Focus on new business growth by identifying opportunities, developing and managing new areas of growth to increase sales.
- Maintain an existing customer base by providing exceptional customer service.
- Achieve sales KPI’s, meet sales targets and execute sales strategies as set by the sales manager.
- Work co-operatively within a busy sales and admin team environment.
- Manage yourself to achieve call rates, coverage, distribution, trade spend, product mix and volume targets.
- Arrange a geographically defined territory into a journey plan that delivers efficient service to customers and maximizes the utilization of time.
- Timely and efficient administration demonstrated by yourself, and ability to take on additional responsibility as required by the business.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
