Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver

Gabriel, a leading specialty coffee roaster based on the lower north shore of Sydney, is seeking a dedicated Coffee Warehouse Coordinator and Driver to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our production crew, learning the daily operations of a coffee roastery and our consistency without compromise approach to coffee.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operating packaging machinery efficiently and safely to package freshly roasted coffee beans.
- Learn and work with the Goglio packaging system.
- Labelling coffee bags.
- Maintain and deep clean coffee roasting equipment and warehouse.
- Follow safety standards and procedures as well as adhering to Food Safety Regulations.
- Assist with various tasks around the roastery.
- Perform driving deliveries for 2 days a week.
- Provide great customer service on delivery days.
- Utilising the forklift to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Physically fit with ability to lift, move, load and unload heavy items.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Current full driver’s licence (required)
- Fork lift license desirable but not essential.
- Prior experience in the coffee industry welcomed.

**Details**:

- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Training will be provided.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
