The role Reporting to the Assistant Director of Midwifery, you will prepare evidenced reports and provide advice to support the initiation and progression of strategic projects and policy development. You will develop a Normal Birth implementation plan and use project management framework to ensure clear planning, communication and governance processes to achieve project outcomes. You will provide high level advice on health policy, legislation and to senior Departmental officers and lead strategic policy development activities. Additionally, you will prepare high level briefing documents, submissions, correspondence and reports.
The successful personYou will have high level knowledge of maternity health priority areas and experience in managing and delivering on projects. You will have leadership skills and the ability to provide high level accurate advice on complex issues and the ability to deliver outcomes and manage competing work priorities. You will have demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills including expertise in high level Brief writing and the ability to engage, consult and negotiate with various key stakeholders.

The role of the Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) is to drive the patient safety, quality improvement and clinical improvement agendas for the Queensland health system.
