About the Role
Reporting to the Technical Team Lead and working closely with Royal Australian Navy (RAN) instructional staff, you will be responsible for conducting preventative and corrective maintenance and installation of simulation systems. You will also be responsible for support of the Bridge Simulator, fault diagnosis of electronic systems and audio equipment along with collaborating regularly with RAN personnel to understand, log and analyse problems.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**: Qualifications in an IT discipline or Electrical Engineering background, minimum Diploma level Demonstrated background working with Computer networks and IT systems Experience in a Defence environment Experience with Fault diagnosis of training systems, information systems, training networks and audio-visual equipment Flexible with availability with shifts covering 6am to midnight Monday to Friday. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to show initiative and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

In addition, applicants must be Australian Citizens and meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain appropriate Defence Security clearances.
