Join The Artisans Bottega as a Warehouse Assistant and dive into the dynamic world of DIY Italian food and beverage equipment. We are a family-owned business that evolved from a Wine Equipment supplier to a full-blown Italian Equipment store, boasting two physical stores, a warehouse, and an online store.

This role is pivotal in assisting the warehouse team in dispatching online orders accurately and on time by picking items correctly, packing ensuring goods will arrive in perfect condition, booking the correct courier, and fulfilling orders before archiving the paperwork. Also, from time to time supporting in other warehouse tasks.

This position is ideal for people who like to work as the shift is full-on with great attention to detail. We are offering hands-on experience in the industry. Our Epping warehouse is around 850 sqm with a forklift racking system up to 4.1m reach, clean, tidy, modern, and staff kitchen.

**Responsibilities**:

- Printing picking list online orders as per the software
- Pick items accurately
- Pack orders as per the packaging standards making sure goods arrive in their original new condition. You will use knives cutters, sticky tape guns, shrink wrap, box strapping tools, pallets, trolleys, etc.
- Booking orders by choosing the correct courier
- Completing paperwork by fulfilling orders in the system
- Archiving paperwork
- Communicating with co-workers
- Cleaning the workstation, and leaving everything organised
- Active learning/self-training is the best practice for packaging, our products, and our software.

**Requirements**:

- **Availability to work any weekday from 9 am to 5:30 pm**:

- Good skills with computers are essential. As you use the software every day at work
- Be fit and healthy. Regular lifting up to 25 kg onto a trolley.
- You will pack a lot of bulky items and palletise orders
- Good skills using warehouse tools like pallet jacks, trolleys, ladders, etc.
- Good level of English
- Ability to work autonomously and/or within a group. Always pushing the boundary - Go for it
- High attention to detail and accuracy that allow you to pick and pack fast and focus
- Ability to work autonomously and/or within a group at the same level
- Warehouse safety dress code: Steel Cap Boots, and high-vis clothing.
