**The role**

We have a full time Retail Assistant position (internally known as Counter Sales Person) at our Bentleigh branch. This is a Monday to Friday roster with options for weekend overtime shifts.

**Your duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Be the first face the customer sees as they enter the branch and welcome them with a warm greeting
- Put together quotes for the customers
- Serving customers and ensuring they receive an outstanding customer experience
- Ensure all hardware deliveries are put away and shelves are fully stocked
- Key orders for customers ready for delivery

**We are looking for an individual who possess the below skills**:

- A passion and ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build great relationships
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Prior Timber and Hardware knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- A capability to undertake physical tasks safely
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute as a team member
- All applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing._

**Salary**: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
