- We have delivered significant architectural metalwork projects in the commercial construction sector to tier 1 & 2 builders,
- We are the largest, long standing, and respected balustrade business in WA, supplying the largest residential and commercial builders in Perth, and
- for the last 15 years has been one of the largest suppliers of sheet metal fabricated switchboard cabinets to the mining & resources sector.

Due to significant growth Star Metal is seeking a Sales & Estimating Manager to lead the sales and estimating team and build sales of balustrading in commercial and residential construction.

This position will;
- Work with the managing director to refine the sales and marketing strategy
- lead and direct a team to achieve agreed sales targets
- close out negotiations prior to project award
- provide technical advice to the team in relation to projects in consideration
- be responsible for projects from tender to project award - including managing or overseeing discussions with clients on technical and pricing issues
- undertake business development activity in line with the defined sales strategy
- work with the team to build customer relationships and broaden customer base.

This is an executive level position.

You will have:

- sound experience in commercial construction with project management / estimating / contracts administration experience
- previous trade experience in a fabrication / building / carpentry - preferable
- Understanding and experience of construction matters relating to fixing and installation as it relates to balustrading and miscellaneous metalwork issues generally - is preferred
- Exposure to project pricing / estimating would be well regarded but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively

**Salary**: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
