**About Us**:
At Flemington Veterinary Hospital, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive care for pets and supporting their well-being. We are expanding our services to offer professional grooming in a safe, clean, and caring environment, and we’re looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our clinic team. As a groomer in our veterinary setting, you’ll work alongside our experienced veterinary professionals to provide top-notch grooming services with a focus on pet health and comfort.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, cutting, brushing, and nail trimming for dogs and cats.
- Assess pets for signs of health issues such as skin conditions, parasites, or injuries, and communicate findings to veterinary staff
- Provide advice to pet owners on grooming needs, aftercare, and overall pet hygiene
- Ensure pets are comfortable and relaxed throughout the grooming process
- Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area in compliance with veterinary clinic standards
- Work closely with veterinary staff to ensure a holistic approach to pet care

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a pet groomer, preferably with experience in a veterinary setting
- Ability to safely handle and groom pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Solid understanding of grooming techniques, tools, and products, including knowledge of breed-specific styles
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with pet owners and clinic staff
- Ability to spot health concerns and communicate them to the veterinarian
- Compassionate, patient, and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clinic procedures and policies
- Certification in pet grooming is a plus, but not required
