**Parramatta - with flexible / hybrid working**

**Ongoing, full-time opportunity (35 hour work week)**

**Salary - $101,947 - $112,849 plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 7/8)**

**Your role**

The Financial and Economic Analyst undertakes modelling and analysis, and provides advice on the cost impact of policy and process changes that help drive reform and management of the Stronger Communities cluster.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Financial and Economic Analysis team you will:

- Collect and analyse financial and operational data from across the cluster
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the cluster to understand their activities and processes and link costs to these activities
- Build cost models, determine unit costs and forecasts costs
- Perform analysis on various scenarios and policy changes
- Present information to help decision-makers manage the system efficiently and effectively

**What we’re looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant work experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced numeric and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial analysis and analytical concepts succinctly to a range of stakeholders
