**The Company**:
A major facilities management provider is seeking a Systems Engineering Manager to oversee hard and soft facility services teams performance and compliance. The client operates in a highly regulated clinical environment, including laboratories, testing facilities, medical technology, and corporate offices.
**The Role**:
This role will manage a high performing FM team including asset management, maintenance planners, cleaners, subcontractors to deliver systems projects, compliance and quality management.
Create value and improvements to service performance, ensuring high compliance standards, risk management, team leadership and building strong stakeholder relationships.
**Duties**:
- Manage the facilities management team across multiple locations
- Target 100% compliance in a highly regulated environment
- Be the contact point for internal asset management teams, cleaning and other soft services staff, subcontractors, auditing and compliance staff, SLT etc.
- Oversee contractor's performance, contracts, compliance, value for money, SLAs in place
- Plan, design and implement systems engineering projects
- Stay abreast of contract data analytics and performance insights and ensure proper documentation in the QMS
- Planning, design and testing of building systems, IT systems and infrastructure and solve problems where necessary
- People management
**Successful Criteria**:
- Relevant tertiary degree or technical trade preferred e.g. building services engineering, electrical, mechanical, LEAN Manufacturing, project management, etc.
- 5+ years experience in a building services / facilities management environment with a technical focus
- Strong relationship management skills to build trust and partnerships
- Experience in a highly regulated or critical environment, auditing and compliance e.g. medical, healthcare, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, research labs etc.
- Appreciation for risk management, HSE and environmental factors
- Quality systems knowledge
- Team leadership - training, support, succession planning
