Provide leadership across all information security governance services to ensure Ingenia’s information assets are a protected. You will be responsible for establishing and managing Ingenia’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) agenda and work closely with our executive team and Chief Information & Technology Officer to establish Ingenia’s overall IT risk and information security strategy.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Provide authoritative expertise and advice across a range of national and international standards and information security best practices.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on potential threats, trends and relevant events that may threaten the organisation’s IT risk position.
- Ensure Ingenia Management and individual business units remain fully briefed in relation to the organisation’s information security posture and the risks posed from emerging threats. Provide coverage for the Chief Information Security Officer during periods of absence.
- Establish an IT security controls framework program based on relevant information security industry standards and applicable regulatory publications.
- Develop and implement an effective compliance monitoring program to confirm adherence to Ingenia’s IT policies, standards and controls.
- Develop effective IT risk management procedures and facilitate appropriate risk assessment of all IT related changes to the environment.
- Establish strong vendor / provider and internal stakeholder relationships to deliver Ingenia’s current and future business objectives & manage vendors to budget
**About You**
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science or related field (E)
- Experience leading an information security function (E)
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF or CIS18 (E)
- Professional certification such as CISM, CISP, CISA, CRISC, GSLC, Security+
- Strong understanding of security functional areas (governance, risk, compliance, architecture, operations) & principles (defense in depth, least privilege, segregation of duties, CIA triad)
- Strong understanding of technology, networking, cloud, architecture & SDLC E
- Ability to think & operate at a strategic level and get involved in day-to-day support & delivery activities
- Demonstration of leading SAAS vendor / supplier contracts and relationships
- Experience in performing in a technical capacity in regard to cyber security would be favourable
