About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Music, the Music Administrator is a key member of the Music team and provides high-level administrative support across a wide range of music-related activities. This role plays a vital part in supporting the successful delivery of music programs, events, and logistics, and maintaining strong internal and external communication across the department.
You will work closely with the Music Operations Coordinator, teaching staff, and broader College community to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the Music Department - from managing events and bookings to supporting key projects and maintaining resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of music concerts, rehearsals, events, and internal room bookings
- Provide administrative support for co-curricular and curriculum-based music programs
- Oversee venue and equipment bookings, set-ups, and maintenance support
- Maintain key records and department communication, including inbox management and after-hours reports
- Manage the hire and tracking of musical instruments and other departmental resources
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders
- Collaborate proactively with the Music Operations Coordinator and other team members to support the College’s vibrant Music culture

About You You will be an organised and proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. With a keen eye for detail and strong interpersonal skills, you bring both warmth and professionalism to your work. A background in education or music administration will be highly regarded, but not essential.

You will also bring:

- Excellent planning, time management, and communication skills
- Confidence with technology, databases, and general office systems
- A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- An understanding of, and commitment to, the Victorian Child Safe Standards
