**The opportunity**

Our client is a community focused Federal Government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS4 level Co-Design & Engagement Officer to join the team in Brisbane.

The position will be an initial 12 month hourly rate contract paying $42.54 + Super.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks to support the engagement team.
- Representing the Client at external forums and events, providing information and guidance to people with disability, NDIS participants and the wider community.
- Delivering clear, concise and effective messaging to people with disability, their families and carers as well as other community and mainstream stakeholders.
- Assisting with the management of the state/territory engagement inbox, responding to or triaging enquiries and requests.

**About you**
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent administration skills
- Public service and Government experience favoured.
- Background within Government or Disability beneficial
- Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position
