**About the Role**:
As an Audit Supervisor at PKF Perth, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Audit & Assurance department. Based in our Perth office, this permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in audit supervision and contribute to the success of our dynamic team.
- Supervise and oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Provide guidance and support to junior audit team members, fostering their professional development and maintaining high performance standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans to address potential areas of concern within client organisations.
- Review financial statements, documentation, and internal controls to identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Communicate audit findings effectively to clients, advising on best practices for enhancing their financial processes and internal controls.
- Collaborate with senior management to streamline audit procedures and implement improvements that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead on-site audit activities, managing resources efficiently to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting systems and contribute insights to improve clients' financial reporting accuracy.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies or auditors from other firms, as necessary for comprehensive audit processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices to inform audit methodologies within the firm.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Professional accountancy qualification
- Prior experience in leading and managing audit engagements
- Demonstrated knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Understanding of risk assessment and internal control concepts
