Based out of Brisbane's CBD this large organisation is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to implement the Operational WHS Risk Framework to ensure the reduction of risk across the state business units and

sustainable business practices that develop and support a robust safety culture.

**_In this position you will be responsible for:_**
- Continue to develop and implement the Operational WHS Framework
- Drive systems, processes and programs to integrate with company requirements
- Designing and controlling the implementation of these systems through annual operational plans, campaigns, and general programs
- Articulate and actively demonstrate the organisational culture by modeling the required behaviours and holding others accountable for their actions
- Develop and implement comprehensive contractor management, monitoring and auditing systems
- Compliance reporting
- Building professional and high-trust relationships will all stakeholders across every level of the business

**_To be considered for this position you will have:_**
- Strong Risk Management background essential
- 5+ years proven track record in the development and implementation of OH&S, environment, business continuity and enterprise risk management systems management
- 5 years experience in civil construction/asset management
- Demonstrated success implementing HSSE, Quality and Risk systems in a large and multinational organisation
- A genuine and polished communication style, with exceptional research and writing skills
- Solid knowledge of federal and state OHS legislation and regulations
- Develop practical solutions to problems and overcome any resistance in a timely manner
- An ability to implement and enforce systems and best practices at a national level
- Degree / Diploma qualifications in Risk/OHS/Environmental Management or equal qualification
- Lead Auditor Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and senior management
