About the role
The Dietitian position is based within the Homelessness Cluster which is committed to improving the health, housing, and social outcomes of people experiencing homelessness.
The Dietitian is responsible for providing high-quality, community-based nutrition services to individuals and groups, working collaboratively with clients to develop meaningful care plans that respond to individual needs and circumstances.
The role is part-time, 0.6 FTE, with the possibility of an additional 0.4 FTE available at another cohealth location.

- Provide high-quality, flexible dietetic services to individuals and groups
- Use a trauma informed, neuro-affirming and weight inclusive approach when working with clients
- Develop, implement, and evaluate health education and promotion programs using a codesign approach, in response to community needs
- Contribute to the supervision and skill development of dietetic students, Allied Health Assistants, and Grade 1 Dietitians

- Tertiary qualification in dietetics
- Current registration with Dietitians Australia and holds Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status
- Comprehensive understanding of community health principles, including chronic disease management, self-management, and motivational interviewing
