**About the role**:
Drive the IT Service Management (ITSM) function using ServiceNow across the business to ensure that BetMakers staff, their systems, tools and infrastructure are managed efficiently. The IT Support Officer will be responsible for providing fast and quality solutions to a variety of IT issues and will play an active role in minimising any future problems.

**What you will be doing**:

- Be the local IT support contact for the Newcastle office, contributing to the overall ITSM function to ensure the business can scale efficiently
- Contribute to the internal IT support function from end-to-end
- Owning the IT Hardware procurement area and being responsible for ordering all equipment required
- Working closely with the Finance team to ensure IT & Technology related invoices and purchases are reconciled
- Managing and maintaining the IT Hardware assets in the ITSM Asset Register
- Continuously reviewing, evaluating and optimising current processes for effective and efficient operation of the IT support function locally (AU) as well as thinking globally for the future
- Working with the finance team on the procurement of new equipment within budget
- Liaise with a variety of vendors on the procurement of equipment for all Australian offices
- Proactively manage the business’ expectations through the IT support lifecycle
- Act as a key conduit between the technical and non-technical teams within the business

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Professional experience in a technical support role within a corporate environment
- IT/Business related degree and/or ITIL certification
- Experience with using ServiceNow ITSM
- Experience with IT hardware and asset procurement
- Vendor management experience and working with 3rd party Suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer experience (CX) focus
- A team player with the initiative to work independently and autonomously
- Enjoys working in a fast-moving environment
- Flexible working environment with availability to work out of office hours if needed
