**Our Opportunity**
Due to continued growth, NEPEAN Longwall is currently seeking Mechanical Fitters to join the team on 6-month contract roles, with opportunities for full time roles based on performance. These opportunities are full-time and based in Kurri Kurri, NSW, with AM and PM shift options.

**Daily duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Assembly and disassembly of capital and used underground mining materials handling equipment, mainly Roof Supports, AFC and BSL Overhauls
- Minor welding and other support tasks
- Assisting in the training of apprentices by demonstrating correct work procedures
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the designated workplace and general workshop to 5S standards

**The Right Person**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

- A current trade certificate or equivalent qualifications
- Legal rights to work in Australia
- Good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and within a team environment
