**What you’ll be doing**

Maintenance Support is a highly skilled team of Technical Instructors, Technical Trainers and aircraft maintenance specialist's delivering training and support services to the whole of Virgin Tech and Virgin Engineering. The training group develops and delivers both CASA Part 145 and Part 147 courseware and is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance with regard to maintenance authorisations and safety system training.

As a Technical Trainer you will be responsible for delivering high quality learning solutions for Virgin Australia Engineering Virgin Tech team members.

This role is based at the Brisbane Hangar. Melbourne will be considered for the right applicant.

**This will include but not be limited to**
- Carry out the development and delivery of training courses for initial and recurrent business requirements in the classroom or via computer based solutions.
- Maintain staff operational knowledge and skill.
- Carry out assessments in a fair and consistent manner.
- Research, develop and prepare technical training material, consistently look for areas of improvement to keep the content fresh and up to date.
- Have complete oversight of training plans, attendance and training records.
- Ensure all training records are maintained accurately and are efficiently entered into the LMS post certification.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**
- Relevant qualification Technical/Non-technical equivalents
- Significant aircraft continuing airworthiness and maintenance experience and a sound understanding of airline operations.
- Experience in delivering training content in a regulated environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuing airworthiness, aircraft maintenance and appropriate regulatory requirements
