**The Role**

We are seeking expressions of interest from enthusiastic, confident and energetic individuals to undertake duties as casual Learn to Swim Instructors for our swimming centre at Richmond during the 2025/2026 pool season.

**Essential Criteria for the role**
- Demonstrated assertive and confident demeanor, with the ability to hold children’s attention to effectively teach a learn to swim class
- Experience working or engaging with Children
- Current Austswim Accreditation or equivalent
- Current CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain at own expense)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain at own expense)
- Minimum 17+ years old as of 1st October 2025
- Willingness to commit to working 2025 - 2027 summer seasons at Richmond pool on a casual basis

**Desirable**
- Bronze Coaching Accreditation & Current A.S.C.T.A membership
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience as pool lifeguard / learn to swim instructor
- Duke of Edinburgh - Participation in the award scheme and/ or completion of Bronze Award highly regarded
