**PATIENT SERVICES ASSISTANT**
- The

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- We are seeking a Patient Services Assistant who will be an integral member of our Environmental Services Department team. Provide patient room and ward cleaning duties, food and beverage services, transportation of patients and patient support.
- Mercy Hospital for Women - Environmental Services Department
- Responsible for ensuring a clean, safe environment is maintained in compliance with Victorian cleaning standards
- Performing the functions of cleaning/housekeeping, food/beverage, transport & couriering, and patient support
- Develop & maintain appropriate standards of knowledge for policy and procedures to ensure compliance
- Reporting daily to the Environmental Services Supervisors

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Certificate III Health Services Assistant (Essential)
- Previous experience as a Patient Services Assistant (Desirable)
- Current Food Services Certificate (Desirable)
- Effective communication skills and good organisational skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- A strong commitment to working effectively as part of a team
- Enthusiastic and a positive “can do” attitude
