We currently have exciting opportunity for a Part Time Temporary (12 month Seasonal) **Process **Operator to join our operations team. Reporting into the Team Lead - Process, you will be responsible for the operation of a complete product process which requires a sound knowledge of product specifications at our manufacturing sites in Colac.
- Please note, a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen will be _required as part of the recruitment process, following successful interview.

**Weeken**d Hours**:
To be suitable for the role you must be willing to complete approximately 2 months training Monday - Friday before transiting to weekend work.

**_Please note these hours may change slightly some weekends._**
- Saturday 4am - 4pm
- Sunday 4am - 4pm

**Pay**:

- Rates from $29 per hour with increases after 1 & 3 months
- Additional penalty rates and allowances apply

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Observe processes and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Participate in the routine setup, dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of machine and equipment
- Transfer products to and from processes or storage
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment
- Use equipment as per safety instructions, and wear protective clothing and equipment as required
- Collect and identify samples
- Record information appropriate to the production and testing processes
- Assist in the provision of training in conjunction with coordinators/trainers
- Undertake training appropriate to the role, as well as personal and group development
- Perform other duties up to the level of this classification as directed.
- Promote Safety, Quality and Process within the business.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
- Continuously improve own capabilities through demonstrated commitment to personal development

**You will have**:

- Manual dexterity and physical capability to perform the full range of manual handling tasks
- Personal cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work effectively either individually or in a team environment under routine supervision
- Ability to identify faults or hazards, and initiate corrective actions
- Demonstrated learning capability
- Ability to provide basic training to other individuals
- Ability to operate effectively over different work activities
- Availability for work - standard hour, shift work, overtime, weekend work, etc. (as appropriate)
- Ability to comply with standards in relation to Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, hygiene, quality assurance and conduct
