Work Type: Part Time [3 Days]
Based: Head Office, Mona Vale NSW
Position: Operations Assistant
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will a part of the team responsible for optimizing and delivering systems and efficiencies in areas of customer service, business and administration services, production and supply chain within our growing business.

You are a detailed oriented, organized self-starter well-versed in internal operations with a passion for processes and systems. You are hands on and able to take charge of the production process to a high level of standard. You possess excellent organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONS
- Resolving operational issues or in efficiencies.
- 2IC to the manager, performing all duties in their absence.
- Generation, preparation, distribution and filing of both internal and external reports, handbooks and correspondence.
- Liaising leadership team to establish operational inefficiencies and priorities.
- Proactively assess and reassess business environment and recommend improvements to increase operational performance across internal sales, production, supply, dispatch and aftersales
- Monitor, track and report on current and future sales and purchase orders
- Data entry and management into a number of software platforms
- Champion training and on-boarding of new employees
- Monitor, track and generate forecast and demand planning reports for review by the leadership team
PRODUCTION AND SUPPLY CHAIN
- Manage the flow of sales from order through to dispatch
- Manage incoming and outgoing stock and components between Head Office, 3PL, suppliers and customers
- Track, monitor and prepare reports related to product returns
- Assemble, pick, pack and dispatch our line of made-to-order products
- Storage and management of inventory related to finished products and components
- Update production and stock logs using Inventory Management software platform
- Implement, track and update WHS policies and procedures for our ‘light industrial’ workspace
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration and/or management [not essential, but preferred]
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 360 Suite
- Experience in CIN7 or similar inventory management platform
- Experience in Salesforce or similar CRM
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Exceptional work ethic with a sense of urgency and results oriented focus
- Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
- Ability to take every task to the ‘finish line’ and improvise when required
- Ability to prioritize tasks with competing importance and deadlines
- 1+ years of office management or operations experience
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: From $44,197.44 per year
