About the Role
This Migration Assistant role would be ideal for someone with paralegal experience
or a strong interest in pursuing a career or studies in migration law. You'll provide vital support to our Senior Registered Migration Agent, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of client cases. This role is primarily based in our Mona Vale office.
Key Responsibilities
As a Migration Assistant, you'll be instrumental in:
- Assisting the Senior Migration Agent with case preparation and management, including drafting correspondence and preparing application forms.
- Preparing and collating documents for visa applications, ensuring all required information is accurate and complete.
- Liaising directly with clients, providing updates on their application status and answering queries with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintaining accurate client records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Managing critical deadlines and ensuring the timely submission of all applications and supporting documents.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the migration team, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who brings:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a similar administrative role is highly valued.
- A keen interest in Australian migration law and a desire to build a career in this field, potentially pursuing further studies.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clients.
- Proficient computer skills; experience with Migration Manager
or similar case management software is desirable. - The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- A positive attitude, with a commitment to providing excellent client service and a caring approach to our clients' journeys.
