**What the role will involve**
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Act as the Account Manager for the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group’s (CASG) Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Systems - Maritime (EWIS-M) Systems Project Office (SPO), managing L3HM’s interaction with extant and future projects managed by this team.
- Lead the capture of L3HM Australian and Asia-Pacific Maritime EW opportunities.
- Support the wider L3Harris Business capture of Land, Sea, Air and Space EW and associated opportunities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
- Support the Route to Market of all L3Harris products for Acquisition and Sustainment projects in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.
- Evaluate the current market dynamic, competitor landscape, government regulation and potential opportunities; to define a clear, executable direction for the business in the immediate and long term.
- Demonstrate a high level of strategic insight, commercial acumen and inquiry, and the ability to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
- Provide analysis, financial modelling and strategic insights for business cases and strategic planning.
- Evaluating and generating where necessary targeted Merger and Acquisition pipeline, provide strategic rationale for chosen targets, corporate level justifications and lead subsequent diligence as appropriate.
- Instrumental for new initiatives and partnerships, monitoring and managing joint ventures and strategic partnership arrangements.
- Accountable for generating incremental revenue through identification and pursuit of major new business ventures.
**What you’ll bring**
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Possess a strong strategic and analytical orientation coupled with exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with the experience in managing relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Be a natural collaborator with an ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Be a strong communicator, both verbally and in written form.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
**Desirable**:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Management or Technical discipline.
- A veteran of Electronic Warfare in the Australian Defence Force, preferably with the Royal Australian Navy
- Experience of working with Government organisations and international customers in the Electronic Warfare domain - demonstrated experience from a present or previous role.
- An understanding of Australian and International Defence contracting and export regulations including ASDEFCON, DFAR, Defence Export Control, and ITAR.
- Bid and Proposal management experience.
