**As our Health, Safety & Environment Lead for Mars Birdcare Australia,** you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving our HSE systems, policies, and procedures.

Lead our ongoing compliance with community expectations, Mars Corporate and Governmental laws, regulations, and standards.

**What are we looking for?**
- Proven experience in an FMCG environment or similar an advantage
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Occupational Health and Safety and/or related field

**What would be your key responsibilities?**
- Develop in collaboration with the Business Manager and Supply Manager the overall HSE vision and strategy for Mars Birdcare Australia
- Establishes & communicates, and monitors business specific strategy and annual HSE plans in line with Global and Regional strategy inputs and drives continuous improvement.
- Uses a data driven approach to manage, modify and prioritize site HSE direction. Shares and uses data to influence, motivate, measure and drive continuous improvement. Upwardly communicate performance toward company goals for HSE.
- Establishes HSE procedures in line with regulatory requirements and corporate standards.
- Implement management and procedures (SOPs, JSAs, PTW etc) in line with Mars and local requirements.
- Lead and determine annual development plans for both Mars Birdcare HSE and emergency response team
