**About the facility**

The Barwon Health is one of the largest regional health services in Victoria. The University Hospital Geelong ICU is a 24 bed ICU providing tertiary critical care services to the Barwon South Western Region, a catchment region of roughly 500,000 people. Our ICU admits approximately 1500 adult patients a year, a mix of medical, surgical and cardiothoracic patients. We offer collaborative programs to care for adult ECMO and around 200 paediatric patients a year.

**About the role**

Several exciting opportunities are available to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care Nursing), in affiliation with Monash University. Successful applicants will be supported with a structured program which will enable the development of the skills and knowledge required to care for critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit. In this role you will work as an active part of a health care team that shows leadership and embraces change in the coordination and delivery of care in a modern and well equipped ICU. 6 temporary positions of 64 hours per fortnight are available.
