We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable **Sommelier **to elevate the guests' culinary journey at a prestigious 1-Hat restaurant located in the breathtaking Mornington Peninsula.

With a focus on locally sourced produce and innovative techniques, it is offering an unforgettable dining experience.

As the Sommelier, you will be the guardian of the wine program, curating an exceptional wine list that complements the kitchen's creations and captivates the guests' palates. Your profound knowledge of global and local wines, as well as your ability to pair them thoughtfully with each dish, will play a pivotal role in creating a harmonious dining experience. You will engage with the guests, guiding them through the diverse wine offerings and sharing your expertise to enhance their culinary journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Manage and maintain our wine cellar, ensuring an exquisite and diverse selection of wines

Create wine pairings that elevate the flavours of the menu and reflect the Mornington Peninsula's region

Provide outstanding wine service, offering personalised recommendations to guests

Lead engaging wine tastings and events to enrich the guests' understanding of wine culture

Collaborate with the culinary team to identify new wine trends and incorporate them into the offerings

Stay updated with the latest developments in the wine industry and share your knowledge with the teams and guests
