At Burwood House, you will be mentored and supported by a highly experienced team with many combined years of service both in the early childhood sector and within our centre community.

We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic 18-19-year-old who is interested in completing a Trainee Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This is a junior position, and school leavers are strongly encouraged to apply.

As a trainee, your duties include (but are not limited to):

- Contributing to the educational program
- Assisting the Room Leader and educators with day-to-day tasks (e.g., cleaning, meal preparation)
- Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play experiences
- Engaging children in meaningful learning opportunities
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for all childrenPosition Details
- Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday
- Study time: Weekly allocated study hours provided during work hours
- Pathways: Potential for full-time or casual employment upon successful completion of the traineeship

This is a fantastic opportunity to get paid while you study and gain real, practical experience in the early childhood sector within a supportive and professional team environment.

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
