**The role**

Reporting to the Head of IT Architecture and Planning, this role leads the implementation and delivery of portfolio planning and programme/project office services for IT, has responsibility for the development of the annual IT BU Plan and contributes to the maintenance of the CBH 10 Year Technology Plan.

It has a strong focus on IT Capital Planning with specific responsibilities in the Architecture & Planning Team for project portfolio estimates, development of integrated project schedules and resource allocation.

Responsibilities also include supporting IT Project delivery via continuous improvement of the IT Delivery Framework (ITDF) and working with Project Managers to ensure appropriate governance measures are in place and followed.

This is a leadership role with a specific focus on improving current IT planning and delivery processes together with developing greater collaboration with other non-IT planning and project delivery functions within CBH.

**Key responsibilities**- Lead and coordinate development of the annual IT BU Plan. Including engagement with CBH Strategy Team and other BU’s to ensure coordination of activities and processes.- Continuous engagement with other CBH BU’s to capture and manage new demand items for IT- Responsibility for the provision of Project Management Office (PMO) support services for projects.- Uses and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects.- Lead IT Capital Planning including development of Architecture & Planning Team project portfolio estimates for the annual, 5 year and 10 year cycle- Maintain details of forecast vs actual spend for Monthly and End of Year portfolio financial reporting- Manage Opex & Capex project allocations to ensure adherence to financial guidelines- Manage new IT demand requests not in the capital plan and ensure they follow the Substitution Process (TBD)- Assist Project Managers to track project spending - report on overall portfolio financial health- Manage the IT Demand Management function to ensure accurate resource planning- Evaluate project and/or programme performance and recommend changes where necessary.- Create, or support creation of, reports required to meet IT Lead Team and business needs.- Work with Project Managers to ensure that key project measures are maintained in platforms such as Service Now.- Provide detailed guidance to new and existing resources on project management software, procedures, processes, tools- Manage IT portfolio reporting to help ensure it is delivered to plan- Monitor project spend with PM’s to ensure that projects are delivered to cost

**Skills and experience**- Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certificate in Information Systems, Financial Services or a similar discipline or 5 years equivalent work experience in a similar role.- High degree of collaboration and team working a must- Microsoft or relevant Windows experience.- Can-do attitude and ability to operate in a fast paced environment.- High problem solving capabilities.- Good stakeholder engagement across business functions including support processes.- Ability to investigate and resolve issues.- Skilled in dealing with multiple complex issues concurrently.- Organised and able to deal with unexpected issues.- Ability to build internal and external relat
