**The Preschool is looking for a **full-time **permanent role as “professeur des écoles”**

The French-Australian Preschool is an accredited long day care operating under Australian Early Childhood Law and Regulations, managed by a board of parents. The French-Australian Preschool is officially recognised by the French government (homologuée). Located in Canberra, the preschool offers a progressive immersion program in French based on the French preschool curriculum and the EYLF for 132 children aged 3 to 5.
- Have a French professeur des écoles degree ;
- Demonstrate experience and excellent knowledge of the French education system, particularly the preschool level;
- Be a French native speaker and have excellent written and spoken English skills;
- Have excellent teamwork skills, be flexible, hardworking and open-minded;
- Have great listening and communication skills;
- Demonstrate experience in team leading;
- Demonstrate experience and ability to maintain partnership with families;
- CV with contact details for referees
- Copy of professeur des écoles degree
- University and IUFM or ESPE transcripts
- Cover letter
- Previous employment reference letter from the French education system (schools, levels taught and number of years)
- French inspections reports
- Former performance appraisals
- Your position on the French teaching scale
- Copy of other degrees
- Your current immigration status in regard to Australia (citizenship, permanent residency)

**Salary**: between $58,706.11 and $98,064.33/year plus superannuation
