This is your opportunity to join carsales in this newly created role of Commercial Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will share your expertise in business partnering to drive commercial insights and analysis across the business to assist with identifying revenue growth and cost saving opportunities. You will work with the Australian business as well as gain global exposure working with the international subsidiaries.

Our Finance team has a full understanding of how each of our business units work, as they collaborate and share ideas with all our teams to ensure we are always delivering the best possible user experience to our customers.

**Job Description**:
**What you’ll be doing**
- Share expertise to coach and build business acumen with key stakeholders in financial knowledge and the use of information systems to determine revenue, cost and budget/forecast outcomes.
- Develop, lead and support solutions that deliver the development, review and enhancement of business cases, including supporting financial models.
- Collaborate and connect with senior leadership to prepare monthly forecasts and annual budget including detailed variance analysis.
- Develop various financial models and support product pricing initiatives.
- Assist with management of reporting and planning system (Hyperion/PBCS) and participate in continuous improvement of key information systems, processes and procedures to ensure they align with best practice.
- Contribute with production of Monthly Board reports.

- Demonstrate understanding and expertise in business partnering or advisory role, within a high-performing team and a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise to share commercial acumen on experience partnering with operational management teams.
- CA/CPA qualified with experience in working with ASX listed businesses preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce and Hyperion is an advantage.
