Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.
We address the needs of people experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations. This position will be based at Thomas Embling Hospital and will be required to work across all Forensicare sites.
Forensicare is situated across five sites across Victoria with its largest site being Thomas Embling Hospital,located in Fairfield just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre.Thomas Embling Hospital is a 136-bed secure hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation and continuing care programs. It includes a dedicated women’s unit.
**About the Role**:
The Talent Acquisition Lead will provide proactive talent sourcing, pipelining, and acquisition expertise to lead strategies to attract and retain Forensicare’s skilled workforce to meet the current and future workforce needs outlined in the Strategic Workforce Plan and Recruitment and Retention Plan.
This position will utilise various sourcing and marketing channels to identify hard to fill roles and work closely with key stakeholders to address current skills shortages by positioning Forensicare as a Workplace of Choice for prospective employees.
The Talent Acquisition Lead is also responsible for the coordination of the Immigration portfolio at Forensicare. The position manages two separate portfolios: the International Medical Graduates (IMG’s) and Migration advice & support for Nursing and Allied Health employees at Forensicar
**Duties**:
- Work with the Executive Director, People and Culture and the Workplace Relations Manager to implement key talent sourcing and acquisition actions in Forensicare’s Staretgic Workforce Plan and Recruitment and Retention Plan.
- In collaboration with the Workplace Relations Manager, build the capability for effective hiring decisions by supporting Hiring Managers in designing and implementing effective targeted hiring startegies and activities.
- Provide significant input and expertise to coach specific teams for the preparation, coordination and follow up of sourcing and talent acquistion campaigns to ensure objectives are met.
- Develop networks and engage in industry forums to target talebnt markets both locally and internationally.
- Manage the tender, contract and relationships with external talent acquistion and sourcing stakeholders including local and international agencies.
**About You**:
- Proven experience providing strategic recommendations and solutions to meet workforce planning needs.
- Excellent relationship management and consulting skills including the ability to undertake consultative processes, influence and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of attraction, recruitment and selection strategies, particularly best practice.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to source relevant organisational information to understand future business needs and preempt potential project risks, issues and challenges.

**COVID19 & Influenza Vaccination Evidence**
