Rose Bay, Australia Catalina Restaurant Full time

CATALINA is looking for a sommelier. All levels of experience will be considered.

The role includes providing specialised wine service, assisting the Head Sommelier and Assistant Sommelier with staff training and stock control, and contributing new ideas to a developing wine list and wine programme.

You must be hard working, dedicated, pro-active and passionate about wine and wine service, and bring enthusiasm and a positive can-do attitude to the wine team. You will also need be adaptable, thrive in a very busy environment with a constantly changing wine list, and be willing and able to follow instructions from the Head Sommelier and Managers.

A valid driver's license is also required for this role.

CATALINA is an internationally renowned restaurant which has been a fixture in the Sydney dining scene for over 27 years. The owners are experienced hands-on restaurateurs, and are committed to developing the best wine list in the country. A number of family members occupy key positions in the business, and we are proud to have many career professionals among our floor and kitchen teams who have remained with us for over 10 years. We encourage our staff members to develop their potential and become part of the Catalina family.

The restaurant opens 7 days a week and is very busy all year round.

This position offers full time hours, and you must be available to work on weekends.

Immediate start available.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $69,999.00 per year
