Climate, energy and disaster risk are crucial, growing and interconnected issues for Australia and the world. The Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions (ICEDS) initiates and supports the development of transdisciplinary research teams across ANU with the aim of securing long-term, large-scale research funding and ensuring broad societal impact as well as leading outreach, policy engagement, executive education, facilitation and coordination roles. Additionally, the Institute is taking a lead role in the ANU Below Zero initiative, with the goal of reducing ANU greenhouse gas emissions to below zero by 2030.
**Position overview**
The Executive Education Coordinator works with the Executive Education Manager, Institute staff and lecturers (both inside and outside ANU) to coordinate ICEDS’s executive short course program, providing world-leading professional education on climate, energy and disaster solutions to stakeholders across Australia and the world. This role will provide administrative and operational support for professional educational projects managed by ICEDS, contributing to the development, design and evaluation of the ICEDS executive education program.
To excel in this role, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field with proven experience in education and / or program administration. Experience in tertiary education design or delivery and / or experience working in climate change, energy or disaster risk will be highly regarded. You will be a strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
