Sydney Depot Seeks Lead Driver

Sydney, Australia SAFE Logistics Full time

Australia-wide fragile freight transport company is looking for an experienced MR &/or HR driver to join their Sydney team in a permanent capacity in a leadership role. Reporting directly to the Despatch Manager you will be critical in ensuring the successful execution of day to day operations. Successful applicant will be remunerated according to their experience. Flexible employment options including salary, full time, permanent part -time are available.

**DETAILS**
- Flexible role split between warehouse and driving team - assist in deliveries/loading trucks/preparation of orders
- Ensure best practice is followed for loading and unloading containers and trucks
- Lead training of new drivers, maintain high standards on driving team
- Work with Despatch Manager to manage fleet maintenance and dock maintenance
- Hourly rate offered (with rates for full salary based on skills and experience)

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of an MR Licence (HR highly regarded)
- LF Forklift ticket or willingness to get one
- Clean driving record (must show proof)
- Good health and fitness level
- Be a team player with good communication skills, basic computer skills
- Fluency in English
- Previous experience in fragile freight or furniture is highly regarded
