**About the Position**

Master Steel specializes in the technical manufacture and assembly of steel components for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and local councils. In this position you will be part of the workshop production team where you will perform technical operations and maintenance while meeting the project’s deadlines and budgeted labour hours. In this role you will be expected to do the following:

- CAD drawings, fabrication and shop drawings
- Daily operation of CNC machine for project use
- Machine and software configuration
- Material handling to load /unload fabricated parts onto robots / machine
- Measurement and setting up assembly
- Advice production manager of machine activities with daily reports

**You will need the following**:

- Must have mechanical aptitude and affinity towards automation
- Experience with CNC machine, robotic welder, laser cutting machine, other similar types of machines (advantageous)
- Must have good attitude and team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Graduate

**Salary**: $26.02 - $36.95 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Flexible hours
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
