**About the role**
In this role you will manage a small team of communications professionals, to deliver high-quality content for internal and external audiences. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues in CELI and across our directorates to plan, implement and evaluate integrated communications and engagement strategies to promote the public benefit of our services and contribute to advocacy for law reform.

You will take the lead on supporting the organisation to engage with the media, oversee internal communications support as well as contribute to strategic and operational planning as part of the CELI leadership team.
- This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country._

**About you**
- Extensive experience in proactive and reactive media engagement and issues management gained in a not-for-profit, government and/or legal setting.
- Demonstrated experience in people management, building collaborative relationships and leading within a high-pressure environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, public/corporate affairs or equivalent professional experience (mandatory).
