**What you'll be doing**

The positions are suitable for Advanced Training in Immunopathology (Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, RCPA), or for trainees in the joint Immunology program of Clinical Immunology and Immunopathology.

Trainees participate in network-wide teaching, supervision, research projects, ongoing education and clinical and laboratory quality programs.

The Advanced Trainee is expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of, and at the discretion of their Supervising Immunologist(s).

The facilities participating in this joint recruitment process are accredited by the RCPA for specialist immunopathology training. The facilities participating in this process are:

- John Hunter Hospital
- Royal North Shore Hospital

**Selection Criteria**
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Evidence of completion of at least two (2) postgraduate experience.
- Proven ability to work as a team member with effective interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team environment, in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.
- Demonstrated vocational interest in Immunopathology and/or Immunology, including specific examples of activities, experiences, training and/or research of relevance.
