**Educational Leader (Gosford)**

Are you looking to take the next step in you Early Childhood Education career?

Watch Us Grow Early Learning Centres (Gosford) is seeking looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher or Early Childhood Leader that is passionate about seeking best practice in children’s learning and curriculum; committed to professional learning and development; and dedicated to mentoring educators.

The role would require you to work closely with the current Centre Director and be part of our leadership team. In your role you would assist in the management of the services operations in line with relevant regulations and procedures. You will perform the role of Responsible Person in the Centre Director’s absence.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the Nominated Supervisor in the running of the service
- Mentor and guide less experience staff within the centre
- Develop, plan and implement a quality program that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework
- Monitor and document children's progress & individual children's portfolios
- Develop open communication channels with staff, children and families of the centre
- Contribute to the effective operation of the workplace by supports colleagues, sharing ideas and information, & working as a good team player
- Comply with the centres policies and procedures along with licensing, legislation & regulations
- Assisting children with their daily routines & support them in their learning
- Create a stimulating environment to foster & support children's development

**About you**:

- ECT, Working towards ECT or Diploma in children's services
- Previous management experience (desired but not essential)
- A clear understanding of the national law and regulations
- Experience in a leadership and mentoring role
- Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and
- National Quality Standards
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

**Salary**: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
