**About the role**

Carer’s Network are in search for an experienced Disability Support Worker that is has experience in mental health and have experience working with challenging behaviors. Every day will be different as you will be taking our clients out into the community and to appointments, assisting with duties around the house and ensuring that their daily lifestyle needs are met.

Experience in the following is essential:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years in Mental Health, Disability or Home and Community Care.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in working with challenging behaviors and have a strong willed and positive approach when faced with these challenges.
- Deliver high-quality person-centered care to our clients and make sure that their individual needs are met.
- Highly motivated with strong interpersonal, problem solving and great communication skills.

- Cert III in Mental Health, Psychology, social Work or equivalent
- First year psychology student
- NDIS worker screening check
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
