**Permanent full-time or part-time opportunity for Patient Care Assistants to join our day oncology unit**

**About the Role**

As the Patient Care Assistant, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and assist the nursing team in the provision of care to our patients and their families.

This role will see you joining a team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe, holistic care to each individual patient to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Some of your duties will include restocking, cleaning and transporting of blood products to the unit as well as support the nurses to care for patients.

**About You**
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistance
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions

Most importantly, you will bring a caring and compassionate nature that enables you to provide supportive care to patients and their carer’s.

**Remuneration**

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from **$28.12 - $31.40** + superannuation based on qualifications and experience, exclusive of penalties and allowances.

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
